WeWieW is the image agency of the public, mediating news images between press/media and the public. WeWieW serves as a marketplace were images of news interest can be uploaded and put for sale. It’s all free of charge using the service, only when a purchase is done WeWieW takes a commission on the sales amount. There are millions and soon billions of people in the world with smart phones or some other combination of camera and internet connection. Meaning there are soon billions of potential press photographers ready to snap images where ever anything of news interest happens! Add some key words, a short story and select a price level. This is searchable for press and media on the WeWieW site and they can quickly target and find a selection of images from what’s been uploaded for instant purchase and publishing. WeWieW is under final buildup with a few features and testing left before launch. Funding will be used for making it complete and get started in an efficient way.
